Lanie M. Scull has been with The Law Offices of Paul H. Scull, Jr. since 2009. As Paralegal, she runs the firm's day-to-day operations and makes sure every deadline is met, working directly with clients, attorneys, law clerks, and court staff.
Before joining the firm, Lanie spent more than a decade in banking, academic administration, and healthcare. She started her career at Susquehanna Bank in Towson, Maryland, as a Marketing Representative and was later promoted to Marketing Supervisor and Assistant Branch Manager. She then spent seven years at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, where she coordinated academic programs, residency administration, and departmental events. At PharMerica in Newark, Delaware, she handled payroll and human resources and oversaw the administrative office.
Lanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.
Lanie spent her early childhood in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from high school in La Vergne, Tennessee, just outside Nashville. After six years in Maryland, she moved to South Jersey in 2001 and has called it home ever since. She and Paul married in 2011 and have two adult children, and they love spending time together as a family. Lanie loves traveling with her husband and family and spending time with their Irish Setters, and she cherishes her time with family and friends.
